Shelther First Aid Station
Quickly becoming the national standard for disaster preparedness, and shelter management for groups up to 500 people. This kit (and a competent nurse or first aid staff) is what is used to provide emergency first aid and minor medical relief to victims in a shelter. This kit is suggested for relief workers with current or previous EMS, RN or public health backgrounds. Supplied to not only to handle dozens of minor injuries and ailments but also to respond to most serious or life-threatening injuries until advanced transport can arrive for transport.
This disaster shelter kit was specially designed by our Crisis Management Systems, Inc. expert who’s actually run several disaster shelters (One of up to 2,000 people). It is appropriate for those upgrading the preparedness of schools, disaster shelters, community centers, commercial high-rise buildings and public facilities.
Major disaster response agencies have adopted our kit design as their new national standard for, shelters and Emergency Medical Stations. Every community should at a minimum have a kit of this quality prepositioned or in their response trailers ready for shelter use.
The station functions as a one-kit solution when setting up the shelter and will handle dozens of minor injuries and ailments as well as up to 5 persons with major injuries. Laypeople and skilled professionals alike have appreciated the generous selection. This kit features professional quality tools and supplies for major or multiple trauma injuries when help may be delayed as well as standard Bandage and Blister items.

Many Government agencies and corporations are upgrading their
domestic preparedness programs to include this (and our other
disaster level kits) for emergency response.
You may wish to add or change the items in this kit based upon training levels, anticipated use or packaging. Please call us with these requests or questions. Additionally, you can add an Oxygen Module (contains UNFILLED D-tank, regulator, nasal cannulas, adult and pediatric facemasks, and personal protection items) or upgrade your kit to be Latex Free (the Adult aneroid, wraps and gloves will be changed). For a more complete kit, you can add the additional aneroid module to contain either a 3-cuff set (Adult, Large Adult and pediatric) or a 5-cuff set (Adult, Large Adult, Infant, Pediatric and Thigh).
